Austin Air has always been in the business of listening. The Austin Air story begins back more than thirty years ago because the late Richard Taylor, the founder of Austin Air, was determined to assist his wife, Joyce.

Joyce had endured chronic respiratory issues throughout her life that neither medications nor dietary adjustments could alleviate. Eventually, the couple recognized that the air Joyce was inhaling was polluted.

Inspired by the technology used in premier medical institutions, Richard aimed to replicate the only environment where Joyce experienced relief – her hospital room.
